Now What - Special Credits
(Warning! Ok, now I am going to get sappy and emotional)
Friends and Family:
For my Beautiful Mother and Father: (deep breath and big gasp for air on this one!) Each of us have pioneered unusual imperfect lives and challenges individually, GOD I wish we could have all been there for the other in doing so.  It may not have made it any easier but it would have been a lot less serious.  We are still an eternal unit never broken, and I love and appreciate you two so very much it could bury me alive!  I hope I haven’t been too much of a burden to bear, but hey! If I have, it runs in the damn family! :)

My babies: Until you have your own children someday you may not understand why I’m all over you and I kiss you to death (when you let me) or why I am the Intense Protector Gladiator Lioness mother that I am (who would personally kick the ass of anyone who would (even if slightly) hurt your feelings, and if I couldn’t do it I would find someone who could immediately :) There isn’t enough space in all of the universes combined to hold the depth of love I have for you in.  You are my life and my heart.  Be careful with it will ya :) !!!

Lockwood: It took me 26 years to find you and DAMMIT if your not perfect in everyway! I admire and love you more than I ever knew was possible. Many others have tried to have a love like this w/ me to no avail.
THANK YOU for allowing me to finally know what "SoulMate" and "Being One" really is.
THANK YOU for your talent, your ear, and your expertise on this record.
THANK YOU for finally being the perfect fit to the other half of me! :)
MINE!!!!!!!!!!! ALL MINE!
Paigey: I wouldn't be what I am Or who I am without you (Piss OFF if you try and convince me otherwise) I mean it dammit, I need your energy and lifeforce to survive. (Yes, like a vampire and insect, or anything else that needs food:)
I love you! Thank you for you're unconditional attention, support and love.
Danny Keough: My best Friend, My Co-parent, My Unconditional loved one! I am so lucky to have had these amazing children with you and to have you so close in my life!
So many have tried to sabotage our bond over the years, we've been through everything together and you know what!? We WON so F*** THEM! We always end up there for each other through everything in the end! I Loooooooooove You!
Eric: You are so amazing to work with! You make the process fun, fast and painless! Thank you for having great taste in music, for capturing me through my melodies and vocals, and especially for being such a wiz with only a few vocal takes.  More importantly, thank you for your friendship.
Luv ya!

Linda Perry: Working with you was an incredible experience! I thought If I wrote with a bad ass popular songwriter they would try and push me to a compromised Politically Correct Commercial Place, THANK YOU for NOT doing that! You went with who I am and what I responded to (and I shall note, unusually patient while I labored over lyrics:)
I don’t think I've ever had so much fun in the writing process, AND the fact that I'm crazy about you helps! You are a true Bad Ass!!!!!!!!!

Manson: I have to thank you for being so enthusiastic and supportive of my music and career since before the first record came out. I value few opinions artistically and yours is one of them. You've also turned out to be one of the best friends I've ever had. You've had my back more than I could have ever asked for the last few years through various "Turbulence".
I'M FUCKING CRAZY ABOUT YOU!
Ms. Pink! Little sister, Hot mamma and CO-Pirate! Thank you for lending your beautiful voice on SHINE (and for not out singing my ass;) I fell in love with you the minute we connected.
(I believe it was at around 4am one night, drunk on the floor barking at each other lol :)

I've told you this before and I mean it, I got your back! I looooove you!
The Wisemans: Thank you for your friendship, love and support. I am so lucky to have you in my life.  I love you......... However, you are all a bunch of BLOW-WACKS:) lol
Steve Jones: Knowing the serious MUSO that you are and being the huge fan that I am of the Sex Pistols, I was scared to death to even play you, let alone ask you to play on my song. I am so honored that you played on 2 songs I can't tell you! You kicked both of their arses! THANK YOU! Much Love
Dave Way: It was a pleasure to work with you. Thanks for doing a great job and being so cool.

To all of the fans that I made along the way from the last record:
I don't know that I necessarily LOVE having my ass on the public frying pan of the world. YOU are the reason I shall keep it burning for a while longer. YOU are what made it all worthwhile the last time and YOU are what made me do it again. You wanted more, so here it is.

I can't thank you enough...For allowing my music and words to affect your lives, THAT is what music is for, that is why I did a record in the first place.

The song "Thanx" (one of the few nice uplifting songs I've ever written lol:) was inspired by and written for certain people who I am very close to in my life, people I feel I live my life with, people who will always be there, YOU were apart of that inspiration, so that one is for you.

This record is for YOU.

Love always,

~LMP

* Bonus Track (Why are there two covers on this record!?)

Dirty Laundry speaks for itself.
Five years ago Johnny Ramone picked "Here Today Gone Tomorrow" for me to sing. He wanted me to sing it on a Ramones tribute record where many of his friends and artists covered Ramones songs. Bad timing and circumstances didn't permit me to do that then.

While it is great that there has been a recent resurgence in Ramones popularity, the fact still remains that at the time of their Punk Rock cultural reign, they barely got air play and recognition which is not that surprising as they stuck to their fierce guns and never conformed but nevertheless, a despicable oversight.

Johnny was one of my best friends, just before he passed away I promised him that I was going to put this song on the record. He was very sick but wanted to play guitar on it as long as he was sitting down. Unfortunately the very day that we were recording the basic track he died. I sang it 3 days later and Steve Jones (JR's good friend that he would be happy about) played in his stead.

The Bonus track is for Johnny and my Homage to the Ramones who I don't feel got the acknowledgment and respect they deserved when they were still around to get it.
